Morbark 2755

The 2755 Flail Chiparvestor® features a 27″ (68.58 cm) chipping capacity and a lift capacity of 17,200 lb (7,800 kg) at 10′, making it one of the toughest machines for high-production chipping operations. It can be configured with three- or four-knife disc options and includes customizable elements such as cold-weather starting systems, discharge spout extension, and remote control. The operator’s cab is enclosed, weatherized, rubber-mounted for vibration reduction, and equipped with A/C, heater, and adjustable seat and joystick controls.

Key Features:

1. Closed-Loop Flail Drive: Flail drive uses a closed-loop hydraulic design with separate hydraulic systems for each flail drum, complete with electric tach and controls in the operator’s cab.

2. Ultrasonically-Tested Chipper Disc: Each disc is fabricated from plate steel and put through ultrasonic testing, with material certification issued for each disc.

3. MICS Monitoring System: MICS (Morbark Integrated Control System) monitors hydraulic pressures, temperatures, and engine parameters, and controls auto-reversing fan functions and feed functions.

4. High-Capacity Knuckleboom Loader: Mor-Lift Model 500 loader has a 23′ reach, 270-degree swing, and a lift capacity of 17,200 lb at 10′.

5. Large Infeed System: Three top feed rollers, five stationary bottom feed rollers, and dual horizontal chain flails with segmented drums provide controlled material movement and bark removal.

6. Heavy-Duty Discharge System: A 60.5″ wide × 23′ long telescoping drag chain conveyor with hydraulic drive manages chip discharge.
